Sr. SAS Developer

Position Description
Qstride is currently seeking a Senior Analyst who will work on site with the Decision Sciences team. The role will be using SAS and SQL to provide analytical support of clients' large-scale customer and prospect databases in a team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities include:

• Analytical support of client portfolio and marketing campaigns.
• Integrating data from diverse sources in multiple platforms.
• Querying data from a database or data warehouse.
• Data cleaning, quality control, testing and problem resolution.
• Preparation of analysis and reports and presentation to clients.
• Additional duties as required for the efficient, smooth and timely flow of work and information.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Highly proficient utilizing SQL and SAS to manipulate, arrange, query and present data.
• Proficient with Microsoft office tools and environment.
• Experience in statistical analysis of marketing program performance.
• Familiarity with working with secure, personal identifying information.
• Familiarity with large relational databases.
• Experience in data quality and problem solving.

Education/Experience:

• Required: BA / BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics or computer science
• 4-6 years related experience

Jr. SAS Developer

Education/Experience:

• Required: BA / BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent technical or semi-technical undergraduate degree with emphasis in data management.
• 2 plus years experience 

Jr. Business Systems Analyst

• Executes data analysis using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Interprets results and presents to the both internal and external clients.
• Familiarity with querying data from a database or data warehouse.
• Additional duties as required for the efficient, smooth and timely flow of work and information.

 
Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel to manipulate, arrange and present data.
• Willingness to learn software such as SAS and R.
• Willingness to utilize and manipulate data.
• Familiarity with automotive data preferred.

 
Education:

• Required: BA / BS in computer science, management information systems, statistics, mathematics, marketing research or equivalent technical or semi-technical undergraduate degree with emphasis in statistics.

Sr. Sql Data Developer
Metro Detroit, MI
6 - 12 month contract 


 Position Responsibilities:
This role focuses on development of stored procedures, functions and SQL scripts for various mail files and applications. The developer will spend time on analysis and translation of business requirement into data requirements. Responsibilities include analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Ad-hoc data query for various analyses. Provide detailed analysis of data issue and development of recommendations
 
Required Qualifications and Experience:
·         Experience designing, coding, testing and maintaining database objects, tables, views, packages, functions, procedures, indexes, sequences and triggers using Oracle PL/SQL
·         Strong data and business analysis skills with attention to detail
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·         Motivated by satisfying customer needs
·         Experience meeting with user community, ability to drive data analysis meetings for data migration from external data sources, and documenting data conversion requirements
·         Experience translating requirements into technical specifications to be created using Oracle 10/11g, SQL Loader, PL/SQL and SQL
·         Driven self-starter who can work both independently and as a team member
·         Knowledge of data validation concepts, and advanced SQL writing skills.

·         Languages: Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX-Shell programming
 
Optional:
·         Business Objects and Oracle DBA Experience
 
Education:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Business Integration Manager

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and lead projects.
• Coordinate communications between staff and clients.
• Establish goals & identify training opportunities for the company and its staff based upon current priorities and project.
• Identify employee resource issues.
• Attend Regular Required Meetings
• Cultivate additional role based or deliverable based opportunities.

 
Educational Background:

• BA/BS Business, Business Systems, MIS

 
Skills/Attributes include:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Business Systems, MIS or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable at working with people at different client organizational levels.

• Previous IT experience a must to help translate business requirements into development specifications
