Job Description:
Skills: Architecture / Design level experience with Cisco indoor (Cisco 3502) and outdoor (mesh and root) access points, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco Wireless Controller (5508), wireless site survey tools (Ekahau and Air Magnet), Cisco switch configuration (Cisco 3750), Cable installation and Access Point (AP) installation
Responsibilities:
- Be the engineering lead for the 1800 AP wireless installation effort.
- Work with the MT project manager to ensure that the technical delivery on the engagement is executed per the contract requirements
- Develop Cisco switch configurations for 150+ Cisco switches
- Install and configure the Cisco 5508 controller and Prime infrastructure per the contract requirements
- Lead the teams that will be installing the APs, switches and cabling to ensure that the tasks are completed on time
- Be the primary POC to the USMA customer for any technical issues
- Participate in weekly status meetings.
Certifications: CCNP / CCIE Preferred, proven experience with similar work needed, proven wireless expertise
