Job Description:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Mac Server and Client Administration
o Responsible for advanced Mac hardware and software maintenance,
support, monitoring, and lifecycle

o Responsible for the release management process for operating system images and deployment on the Mac platform
o Maintain Mac server file and print services
o Maintain backups of Mac systems
o Test software upgrades and operating systems prior to company wide deployment
o Coordinate automated software installations and upgrades companywide
o Monitor and maintain client support systems including security updates and antivirus
o Maintain Active Directory/Open Directory User and Computer Accounts
o Manage and document the process for deploying and maintaining iPhones

• Systems Analysis
o Provide solutions consulting for the Mac client community
o Evaluate the current Mac environment and recommend, test, and implement improvements to technical and business processes
o Create and maintain documentation of IT processes and problem resolution details

• Client Services Help Desk Support
o Serve as the level two point of contact within the Client Services Help Desk to provide technical support to end clients
o Investigate software and hardware problems and coordinate the problem resolution with other IT staff as needed
o Serve as backup to other Client Services Technicians
o Develop and conduct end client training on Mac and graphics design
software

Qualifications:

•          Bachelor or Associates degree in computer science, computer technology or related  field/equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Apple Mac client and server operating systems
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other graphics design software
  • Apple, A+, or other technical certifications or training a plus
  • Experience working in a customer service capacity preferred
  • Strong network experience including Ethernet and TCP/IP protocols, Mac and Windows networking and security
  • Shell scripting and knowledge of enterprise level management of Macs
  a plus.
