Sr. Pega Developer
12 month project
Work Location: St. Louis, MO
6+ Years of experience required in Pega
Pega PRPC 7.x experience required
Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CSSA) on version 7.x is preferred
Knowledge and experience with the Health Care Industry Foundation and Claims Workstation is highly desirable.
Developer should have experience in Pega Interface designing (Integration using JMS and REST connectors)
Developer should be proficient with the Pega implementation cycle, business application and rules development, business process modeling, UI elements, transform development, declarative rules, decision rules, testing, deployment, and production application support.
Overall knowledge of object oriented programming, SOA, web services, Oracle DB
Hands on Design/Development experience in Pega Case Management required
Pega organizational routing process
Application Security concepts
Integration (ex. REST) and their error handing
Custom CSS and UI components
Reporting (ex. Report Definition)
Data structure and concept of Data Pages
Declaratives, Decision and Validation
Familiar with custom Java, Javascripts and HTML
Activities and Flows
Correspondences
Effectively troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during the project lifecycle
Good experience in database Oracle
Familiar with setting up Unit Test cases and experience with Automated Unit Test preferred
Experienced with agile development methodology
Experience in Pega application requirement gathering/documentation.
High customer orientation and quality awareness.
Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills.
Experience in Pega Environment Setup and maintenance, managing releases, Pega ruleset versioning and packaging.
Code Deployment and Migration
Pega Performance tools
High analytical skills. A high degree of initiative and flexibility.
Developer should be proficient in Pega design methodologies including (class structure, org structure, privileges roles, and access groups)
Skilled and knowledgeable to mentor junior developers and assist peers as needed
