Job Description:
Skills
Mandatory Skill (List out all Technical Skills required along with domain skill required)
Good development and design experience on distributed, parallel, cloud computing, No SQL concepts
Strong foundation in analytics, Predictive Analytics, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and design.
Strong understanding of Hadoop fundamentals.
Hands on experience on Spark, Hive, Hbase, MapReduce2 (YARN), Java
Moving data into Hive tables, using Sqoop to move data into Hadoop
Running Hive and Pig Queries to generate reports
Write MapReduce programs using Java when needed
Create UDFs or UDAFs for Hive
Moving data into HBase tables and querying data via APIs
Scala knowledge is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A Team player to work with cross-functional teams with varying skill-sets and in different time-zones
