Role: Business Analyst

Duration: 6 Months Contract(High Possibility of Extension)

Job Description:

As an Agile Business Analyst, you deliver business value as quickly as possible by applying Agile practices, principles and lean thinking. Your ability to listen, ask the right questions, and think on your feet allows you to adapt your techniques, work processes, and communication style to meet team and stakeholder expectations.

Your mastery of requirements elicitation and analysis techniques has given you the ability to:

·         Facilitate requirements elicitation activities

·         Focus on underlying business needs

·         Critically evaluate and reconcile information gathered from multiple sources

·         Identify inconsistencies and missing functionality

·         Decompose high-level information into clear, concise, and complete user stories

·         Define acceptance criteria using a behaviour-driven development (BDD) approach

·         Identify interrelationships of user stories for value-driven backlog management

Required Skills:

·         Five+ years of experience using Agile techniques to document software application requirements

·         Certification: IIBA® Certified Business Analysis Professional™, PMI-Professional in Business Analysis, or Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Owner®

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Typically a bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering Management, or equivalent work experience in related discipline.

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 1 Year+ Contract

Job Responsibilities

·         Strong  technical knowledge and development/ design experience in Java

·         Good communication skills with ability to lead a Development team

·         Assist other teams to develop, test, and deliver more efficiently

·         To be proactive in addressing issues, providing solutions, researching technologies, and improving processes

Must have skills

·         8+ years of Java Experience

·         SOAP/ XML

·         HTML/ JavaScript/ CSS

·         Spring Framework

·         SQL

·         Java/JEE Web services (SOAP and REST) Development

·         Workflow Tools (IBM Lombardi, Process Server, etc.)

·         Spring Framework, Hibernate

·         Databases (SQL, Oracle)
