C++ Developer for our client in
Newport Beach, CA

Duration: 1 year

Phone + Skype

60/hr. CTC

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


• More than 5 years of recent hands-on experience in C++.

• Must be strong in

STL, data structures and object-oriented design

• Experience with at least

some BOOST libraries

• Proficiency working on a UNIX platform (ideally Linux)

• Shell scripting (preference for BASH)

• Prior experience with GCC toolchain

• Prior experience and proficiency working with SQL

• Prior experience working with a change management system.

• Project experience and coding C++ for concurrency and usage patterns

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must have strong Computer Science fundamentals

• Strong C++ coding skills

• Very good communication skills

• Exposure to financial products (Fixed Income, e.g. Bonds, Swaps, etc)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Some exposure to C++-11

• Prior experience working with Makefiles

• Prior experience working JAVA

• Prior experience working with a third party Middleware such as IBM MQ

or TIBCO RV

• Experience working with a unit test framework.

• Prior experience with AWK

• Prior experience working with QuantLib analytics library
