BI Tester (ETL QA)

The ETL/ BI Test Engineer must have atleast 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in BI projects. The selected ETL/ BI Test Engineer will be required to  create, review and execute test cases that ensure data extraction, transformation, and migration according to requirements and technical specifications. Validate data is transformed correctly according to various business requirements and rules and ensure that all projected data is loaded into the data warehouse per requirements. Ensure ETL application appropriately rejects, replaces with default values and reports invalid data.

 Required Skills:

·         Must have minimum 8 to 10 years of QA testing experience

·         Minimum 3-4 years of testing large scale data warehouse, ETL, data conversion and/or data migration testing.

·         Minimum 3 years of experience in ETL & BI testing

·         Minimum 3 years writing complex SQLs, DB Design, Schema, Data modeling

·         Minimum 2 years of experience in Unix environment and shell scripting

·         Strong knowledge on ETL and BI processes

·         Work with project team in requirements gathering and analysis

·         Exposure to End-to-End data validation for ETL & BI systems

·         Strong in STLC process, Test Strategy/Plan, Test Estimation

·         Strong SQL skills and should be able to write SQL to compare and reconcile source and target databases.
