Required experience and skills/knowledge include:

• Expert IT business analysis experience in SAP general ledger in the financial services industry
• IT General Ledger implementation experience in the financial services industry
• Group consolidation/regulatory reporting experience
• Extensive experience in managing IT applications/projects (5 or more years)
• Business Analysis or Project Management certification (CBAP/PMI etc) is highly desirable.
• Ability to think strategically, negotiate & influence 
• Strong work ethics, detail oriented and good interpersonal skills
• Manage virtual teams and work in matrixed organizations
• Ability to liaise with senior technology managers and finance stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and good analytical problem solving skills; Ability to effectively work with clients and vendors in a multi-cultural, smart sourced environment.

The Manager within Finance IT plays a vital role in ensuring all technology solutions are delivered successfully.   Manager oversees the business & functional capabilities of the SAP General Ledger in alignment with the business and IT strategy. 

 A key objective of this role is to bridge the gap between the client's requirements and the technical delivery team and help to successfully deliver projects within this diverse and challenging space.:

• Subject matter expert for SAP General Ledger and all related processes for finance IT
• Overall accountable for changes to SAP general ledger for the Americas region.
• Perform upfront an assessment on any new programs/projects and agree the objectives of the program/project with all involved Stakeholders
• Builds and maintains strong relationship with clients (in the business) to ensure alignment with client needs, requirements and project management support, as needed.
• Deliver quality solutions by employing business analysis best practices and functional domain knowledge.
