Position: QA Tester
Location: KS
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: $35/hr
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
* Five plus years of work experience as a software test analyst
* Railroad industry IT experience preferred
* Experience with a mercury quality center testing support tools.
* 2 years of work experience in mainframe technology – Cobol, JCL, DB2, VB is preferred.
* Work experience in a formal testing organization with defined QA processes.
SKILLS:
* Must have excellent organizational, communication, and testing documentation skills
* Must have ability to oversee testing on multiple projects.
* Must have ability to oversee a junior level test analyst.
* Must have the ability to guide end users through the UAT process.
JOB DUTIES:
* Responsible for creating, executing test scripts and tracking results and defects.
* Responsible for creating regression testing processes and "break" testing scenarios.
* Responsible for communicating test status verbally and with written reports on the status of testing and the defects.
* Responsible to create UAT test case and ensure the UAT is performed by the end user.
