Job Title: Windows System Administrator
Location: Attleboro, MA
Duration: 12+Months Contract
Rate: $45/hr on CTC/1099
Job Description:/Required Skills:
Installing, configuring and maintaining Windows 2008, Windows 2003/2000 servers.
Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
Server Virtualization preferably Hyper-V configuration, managing VMs, P2V migration, etc.
Capacity planning and Fine tune system for optimal performance
MS Patch administration (planning and deployment)
Close coordination with Hardware and Facilities Vendors
Secondary Skills:
Installing, configuring and maintaining Active Directory, DNS/QIP and DHCP.
Design and configure the High Availability environment using MSCS or other cluster solutions with knowledge/experience on Storage Devices (SAN, NAS, DAS)
Good Proficiency in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning
Installation and Configuration of atleast one backup tool – DPM /Netbackup /TSM
Experience on configuring and managing IIS servers
Printer Administration
Knowledge on any MS Infrastructure Application Tool: SCOM/SCCM etc.
Knowledge of Terminal Servers and administering Citrix server will be as an advantage.
