Lead PL/SQL Developer

 

6 Month Contract with extensions

  

Location - Brookings SD - Consultant must be onsite

  

Manager has sent this to us exclusively and we will have preset interviews.

 

Candidate must be a developer and a leader.  Must have experience leading development teams.

 

Job Summary

This position will provide daily support of custom Oracle and UNIX/Linux applications.
This may include but is not limited to UNIX/Linux shell scripting, Oracle Forms and Reports troubleshooting, UNIX/Linux development, Oracle PL/SQL development.

This position will also be expected to follow software requirements documentation to design and develop software.

This position is required to be on call nights, weekends and holidays.


Basic Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must possess 3-5 years of experience in the following areas:

· Oracle PL/SQL development
· Oracle Forms and Reports
· Solid relational database experience
· UNIX/Linux shell scripting
· UNIX/Linux command line experience
· Software support and troubleshooting experience


Bonus Qualifications:
In addition to the basic/required qualifications, a combination of the following skills is desireable:
· Microsoft SQL Server development
· C# or Visual Basic
· SOAP
· Web services
· C programming language
· XML
· BOXI
· SSRS
