Data Modeler
Location: Elk Grove, CA
Duration: 12 Months
Interview times are set for first week of JAN
Required Skills:
- Experience with Data modeling, Data Movement and Data Transportation
- Experience with JAVA Web Services and J2EE. (backend)
- Ideal candidate must have large enterprise experience
- BA in Computer Science or English is preferred.
- Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
- ETL Experience is a big plus
Responsibilities:
- Handling large amounts of data, understanding, designing and troubleshooting complex systems to move and provide data to our end users.
- Ensuring applications have access to the data they need, in the timeframe they need it.
- Monitor, tune and troubleshoot existing data pipelines and be a critical member of a team that designs and implements new solutions for providing data sources.
- Work closely with DBA team as well as our Applications team, and must be able to speak DBA and Java fluently.
- Work with he infrastructure team and support teams and must be able to translate requirements to them.
- Take a project from start to finish, driving requirements clarifications, design, development, testing and deployment.
