Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)

The candidate will use the required and desired skills to build SOA / ADF based applications which provides robust solution to our clients. These are the critical skills which are the core building blocks of our enterprise wide solutions to our user community.

Job Responsibilities:
• Analysis, design, construction and testing of complex end user applications using Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)
• Participate in business requirements analysis sessions
• Identify and document functional and derived requirements and map them to customer requirements
• Identify and document system requirements taking into account functional requirements as well as performance, functionality, and supportability, etc.
• Complete functional and technical design deliverables
• Complete code builds and unit test to validate design including documentation deliverables
• Conduct code reviews to ensure development is performed in accordance with development standards
• Identify changes, analyze the impact of change and provide detailed assessments to determine the LOE
• Follow version control and change management processes to support internal and external audit requirements
• Participate in technical interchange meetings
• Adhere to and contribute to development standards
• Work with the Production Operations team to optimize ongoing performance
• Escalate issues to development teams, other support organizations and third parties as appropriate

Job/Technical Requirements:
• 6+years' experience in software development demonstrating knowledge of systems development lifecycle
• 2+ years' experience in Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)
• Working knowledge and understanding of Oracle Web center Suite
• Implementation of at least 2 enterprise web applications developed on ADF/Web center Suite
• Strong knowledge of Web logic
• Oracle SOA Suite experience a plus
• 4year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of networks
• Working knowledge of Linux OS
• Working knowledge of software version control concepts and change management processes
• Working knowledge of ETL processes
• Working knowledge of data modeling concepts both relational and dimensional
• Working knowledge of UNIX shell scripting
• Working knowledge Hyperion EPM infrastructure
• Working knowledge of automated job scheduling
• Experience with Oracle SQL and/or PL/SQL
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office productivity tools
• Understanding of authentication and authorization security concepts
• Understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Demonstrated expertise in change management and version control practices
