Description :
Primary Responsibilities
· Design and develop J2EE web applications, which will include functional and technical analysis, architecture, coding and unit testing
· Author technical specifications and diagrams based on analysis of complex business requirements
· As a member of an agile team, participate in requirements gathering process, story development, estimation, iteration and release planning.
· Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Education and Experience
· BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or related study
· Minimum 4 years' experience working in software development
· Agile software development methodology experience is a plus
· Experience working in Financial Services Industry preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
· Strong knowledge of Java, JSP, HTML, XML, Unix and J2EE application servers
· Skills in technical design and analysis
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks
· Solid understanding of financial services
· Desire to take initiative, with a view to continuous improvement
