Project Manager

Long term Contract

Start date: Immediate

The selected individual should expect to perform normal project management tasks such as developing project plans, managing the plans, liaison with users, providing status to IT and user management, working with vendors, etc.

Required Skills:

-          PMP Certification. Please include certification number and date of certification.

-          Experience managing IT project(s)

-          Applications (10 years)

-          Standards and Procedures (5+ years)

-          Monitoring resource deliverables, Budgets (8+ years)

-          Providing status reports to senior management (8+ years)

-          Experience with Microsoft Office products. (8+ years)

-          Demonstrated hands-on ability to perform or manage work in one or more of the above areas is required (8+ years)

-          Prior demonstrated ability to achieve and accomplish set goals is important (8+ years)

-          Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (8+ years)

-          Ability to work with a variety of technical and business managers and staff (8+ years)

-          Excellent leadership and negotiation skills. (8+ years)

-          Experience working with technical programming teams. (8+ years)

Preferred Skills:

-          Public sector experience as a project manager or within a program area.

-          Agile/SCRUM

-          Critical Path Project Planning

-          SharePoint

-          Experience and familiarity with both IBM mainframe and Microsoft web-based .NET environments.

-          Human services experience as a project manager
