Description:
ETL Developer
The client is currently looking for an excellent ETL Developer to work as part of a well-established ETL Development team at a major bank located in San Francisco.
Required Skills:
- 2-5 years experience with Abinitio
- 2-5 years working experience as an ETL Developer in a large datawarehousing environment
- Strong database knowledge and technical skill (Teradata is a HUGE PLUS)
- Has a great personality and wants to work as part of a team to deliver high quality ETL solutions
- Wants to do ETL Development work – This is not an architecture or team lead role
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with financial services/banking or payments data
- Prior experience upgrading Abinitio from 2.15 to 3.XX
- Conductit or Plan experience
About the work and the environment:
- This is 90% straight transformation work
- A smaller percentage of the specs require more technical intervention
- ETL developers typically turn a spec into a load within a week, using template scripts, then automating and loading into production
- We are looking for someone who is going to be a good fit with the group, so personality fit is very important (must be outgoing, friendly, respectful and hard-working)
- The group is upgrading the Abinitio environment from 2.XX to 3.XX
