ASP.NET Web Developer
Locations: Houston, TX
6+months contract
Primary Responsibilities/Objectives
You will work on the full life-cycle software development of our C# web applications. You will be involved in gathering requirements, designing high quality software solutions, implementing code and unit tests with other developers, participating in peer review, test, release to the live environment, and maintain the application. This is a financial application that is going to be responsible for collections for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments.
Qualifications
Experience in .NET development in version 3.0 or greater
Experience working with ODP.NET
Experience with DevExpress, Infragistics, or Telerik
Knowledge of Ajax or Javascript
Understanding of how to call stored procedures from an Oracle Database
Any understanding or creating forms and programming form validations
Background in relational database technology (Oracle)
Solid understanding of object oriented design and patterns in .NET
7+ years' experience designing, implementing, and supporting web based applications
Education and Job Knowledge:
Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering and 5+ years of IT software development work experience desired.
Understanding of financial or accounting applications is a plus
