Java Developer Needed
Location: NJ
Duration: 6+ months contract
Rate: $47/ hour C2C
Summary:
As a Java developer, you will be responsible for the following:
• Being responsible for the full project life-cycle, from requirements capture through design/implementation, roll-out and support
• Working closely with a Technical Lead & Project Manager to help extend the infrastructure to support the growing volumes placed on it as more business is migrated onto the new platform
• Work with our dedicated support team to help provide ongoing support for business critical operations for our users.
Basic Qualifications
The successful applicant must have the following:
•Strong analytical skills
•Have experience with or willingness to work within a global team
•Excellent communication skills
•A strong enthusiasm in technology and be motivated by solving technical problems
•Must be willing to roll their sleeves up and dive into solving issues, including production support
The following technical skills are mandatory for this role:
•Core Java server side (multi-threading experience essential)
Preferred Qualifications
•Sybase/SQL-Sybase preferred
•Unix/Linux (including scripting languages)
•Familiar with Groovy
•Business knowledge
•C# experience
