Job Title: .Net Developer with Oracle Experience

Job Description:

Develop programs to process agency telephone, gasoline card and auxiliary credit card transactions

1. Develop tools to import monthly billings and summarize transactions by account number for each Division or Program. Billing statements are provided monthly by the vendors to the DNR that will be parsed and stored in the Oracle database.

2. Generate reviewable reports by Division Business Managers to assess for accuracy.

3. Develop administrative tools to allow Business Managers to add, delete, or edit accounts, staff information and appropriate data in order to manage the system.

4. Create workflow process with appropriate approvals for processing of monthly billings.

5. Develop interface to SC Enterprise Information System that transfers payment information to state financial system as appropriate.

Develop program to manage DNR vehicles and driver information

1. Develop administrative tools/procedures to input, edit and manage agency vehicle and equipment fleet in the Oracle database. This includes cars, trucks, boats and other watercraft, ATVs, tractors, and earth moving equipment.

2. Develop system to input and track monthly mileage, fuel usages, insurance, accidents and vehicle service and maintenance.

3. Develop tools to track vehicle assignment and staff driver training.

4. Develop various monthly, annual and ad hoc reports using Business Objects.

Develop reports to support agency property inventory system

1. Develop reports in Business Objects to interface with the Enterprise Information System asset management data and generate property inventory reports for all staff by Division and Program.

2. Develop ad hoc reporting tools to summarize agency property assets as needed to address long-term planning and equipment life-cycle management.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Extensive knowledge of and experience with database and applications programming concepts and languages (including Microsoft .NET, C#, NHibernate, Javascript and/or other relevant object-oriented programming and scripting tools).

2. Extensive knowledge of Business Objects report development.

3. Extensive knowledge of data base structures and schema design including the appropriate implementation of database security protocols.

4. Knowledge and experience with conducting user needs assessments and translating these into system design parameters.

5. Good oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

1. Extensive knowledge of enterprise information systems development involving the integration of tabular, statistical, electronic records management and web-based technologies.

2. Knowledge of Oracle relational database management systems and PL/SQL programming/scripting language
