Data Architect - Investment Accounting systems

Job Location: Jersey City, NJ

Rate: Market

 

Data Architect - Investment Accounting systems

SimCorp - Investment Accounting systems

CADIS/MARKIT Investment Data Warehouse

 

·         Data architecture as it relates to security, the design of systems, applications and data management solutions.

·         Working knowledge of Data Management and Business Intelligence concepts, principles, and practices is key

·         Significant knowledge and working understanding of key core accounting and portfolio management principles required

·         Engagement management experience in implementing mid to large sized accounting platforms and / or significant experience in re-engineering multiple legacy platforms into one

·         Solid understanding of various investment management data domains, such as investment accounting, asset reference data, client/account reference, performance, attribution and analytics.

 

Significant hands-on experience (15+ years) with the following systems:

·         Familiarity with data dictionary, data governance, data stewardship concepts and tools

·         Solid SQL query skills and SharePoint development skills

·         Exceptional analytical skills, with ability to take a holistic view as well as understand the details

·         Ability to work in a disciplined development environment, including the use of a project management methodologies and system development lifecycles

·         Exceptional written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to create free-flowing information environment

·         Results-oriented and delivery-focused; achieve results under difficult conditions and demonstrate balanced judgment under pressure; set high performance for self; pragmatic and persistent

·         Investment industry experience a must
