Documentation Design Specialist

This technical role working for a strategic client in the Corporate and Investment Banking Industry. The scope of the project involves documenting the current application landscape within the middle office trade processing domain (diagrams, HTML wireframes, Documentation) . This includes User Interface diagrams, interfaces, system level interaction, diagrams, data flows, etc

Responsibilities:

• Defining overall approach for UX\ UI Design
• Develop wire frames and navigation page flows
• Design the look and feel of UI and layouts including buttons, icons, images and other UI components such as header, footer etc.
• Design accessibility requirements for UI
• Develop html templates using wireframes
• Develop example of screens built upon html templates ( this might not be relevant of some one understands the templates)
• Documentation and Review
• Client interaction and communication

Required Skills::

• Trading, Capital Markets exposure. Understand transaction / trade processing
• 5+ years of user experience design experience for software, Web applications
• Must have a clear understanding of each facet of the design process - information architecture + interaction design, research + usability, rapid prototyping, visual + motion design, brand integration, and content creation.
• Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability
• Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps
• Strong working knowledge of design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks etc
• Visual design, including composition, layout information hierarchy, typography and color.
• The ability to solve complex interaction design issues.
• Experience and a working understanding of how to apply user research data.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
• A portfolio demonstrating breadth and creativity and proven experience in building UI models, generating detailed wire frames, developing comprehensive specifications.

• Researching interaction design trends
• Researching technology trends
