ETL Developer

Location: FT. Lauderdale, FL

Must:

Required:

•            Good experience (at least 4 years) in designing, developing, and implementation of system solutions with Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2008R2/2008/2005 in OLTP and OLAP environments.

•            Extensive experience with complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning and optimization, data profiling and analysis, developing metadata and audit control mechanisms.

•            Good understanding of warehousing concepts, staging tables, Dimensions, Facts and Star Schema.

•            Strong experience with SQL Server and T-SQL in creating tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, relational database models.

•            Expert in designing, developing ETL solutions for Data Warehouses implementations using SSIS 2012/2008R2/2008

•            Strong Experience in migrating data from various data sources including (but not limited to) SharePoint, SAP/BW and SFDC using SSIS Transformations like Conditional Split, Lookup, Merge Join and Sort and Derived Column.

•            Good Experience on writing in C# or VB Scripts  as well as domain on Power Shell APIs related with SQL Server 2012/2008R2

•            Hands on experience in Extraction, Transformation and Loading data from various data sources using MS SSIS.

•            Good Knowledge of using variables and expressions in SQL Server Integration Services packages.

•            Expert in structuring and automating ETL process by creating master jobs using T-SQL SQL Server Jobs

•            Previous Exposure to BIXpress on adding errors & audit frameworks as well Task Factory, SQL Mail Agent, FTP and SMTP

Desirable:

•            Experience in Creating data sources and data source views (DSVs), named calculations and named queries.

•            Expertise in Designing and developing reports using SSRS.

•            Designed, developed, created and tested PivotTable/PivotChart reports based on OLAP cubes and

•            Created Drill down, Drill through, linked and sub reports using Reporting Services.

•            Experienced in developing parameterized queries for generating Tabular reports, Matrix reports.

•            Experience in Formatting Report layouts using global variables, expressions and functions.

•            Experience in Dimensional Data Modeling and Cube development in SQL Server 2008/2005 Analysis Services (SSAS).

•            Experience in Creating cubes, dimensions, measures, measure groups, key performance indicators (KPIs), perspectives, measure group partitions, partition aggregations, data mining models Deploying and processing SSAS objects.

•            Expertise in Transforming Logical Database designs into Physical Databases.

•            Exposure to TFS, Share File, SharePoint and SQL Compare and BI Documenter

•            Exposure to Windows SQL Server Azure

•            Exposure in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle in Data Warehousing.
