Job Description – Greenplum admin / DBA / Attunity replication admin
Location: Malta, NY
Duration: Long Term
Experience implementing data platform including MPP db (Greenplum, Netezza,
Teradata, Vertica…) and Hadoop
Experience with implementing and maintaining Greenplum master and local nodes
Heavy experience with maintaining and administering linux servers
Deep understanding of MPP based systems
Strong experience with database partitioning, projections/indexes and segmentation of data
Documentation of processes and procedures
Database troubleshooting and disaster recovery
Strong desire to learn and critically evaluate new technologies
Heavy Linux background
Fluent in scripting languages like Perl, Python, shell scripts
Experience with Attunity Replication tool
Experience with design and development of ETL solutions
Strong relational database fundamentals (Oracle, PostGres, DB2 or similar)
Expert knowledge in writing and optimizing SQL
