Job Description:
- Unix Administration with expertise in Installation, patch installation, Configuration, Tuning and Deploying applications for weblogic domains
- Deploy new releases of telecom e-commerce applications to different environments of webogic domains (DEV, QA, and Production).
- Monitor and troubleshoot weblogic domains installed on Sun Solaris Unix
- Work with the different teams (dev & QA) to resolve any weblogic domain and environment related issue.
- Evaluate new updates for weblogic and make recommendations to ensure compatibility and effectiveness
- Execute variety of tasks with limited supervision
- Supporting Development and QA environments
- Web Logic Administration, WLST Scripting (Web logic scripting tool)
- Exposure to Unix Administration
- Involved in some DBA activities using Oracle database
- iPlanet
- BEA Weblogic
