Position – Sr. java Developer
Location - Manhattan, NY - Need Local
Duration 6+ Months
Rate - $60/hrc2c
The candidate's responsibilities will be to design/architect new applications/platforms and enhance/refactor existing java based applications for better performance/maintainability. Applications include web applications on tomcat, batch processes written in java using Sybase database as backend.
Skill, Experience & General information Required:
Skills Required
· Java/J2EE, Spring framework 8+ years
· Understanding of modern enterprise architectures
· Understanding of internals of Java Programming
· Working knowledge of Unix concepts (command line tools)
· Working knowledge of SOAP/REST APIs
· Working knowledge of SQL/Relational DBs (Sybase / DB2)
· Working knowledge of JAVA, JTAPI and TSAPI
· Working knowledge of MQ
· Hands-on experience with modern web protocols on both client and server side (HTTP/HTTPS)
· Very good communication and presentation skills
Skills Desired
· Some project management or team leadership skills
· Anti Money Laundering domain experience
