Senior .NET developer

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills

1. Expertise in  C#, ASP.NET and XAML with MVVM design principles for UI development.
2. Good knowledge in WPF and Windows applications, JavaScript
3. Good knowledge of MS SQL database, MS Access
4. Experience developing software for Window 8 Store apps is a strong plus.
5. Basic Java knowledge is good to have
6. Good understanding of software development processes
7. Good communication skills

Roles and responsibility

1. Work with the customer to design and implement new features in a detail-oriented manner.
2. Work on performance improvement projects for .Net applications
3. Modifying existing WPF applications
4. Creating/ Modifying Windows applications
5. Work on analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and documentation for projects
6. Participate in peer design and code reviews.
7. Work with QA and applications teams to investigate software defects and customer inquiries, and provide necessary input to technical documentation staff for new features.
