Job title: Business Objects Developer/Designer(prefer locals)

Location: Wichita, KS

Duration: 3 Months+

Job Type: Contract

Summary:
MANAGER NOTES:

Strong Business Objects Developer needed. Candidate must have strong design background and the ability to build relationships with the business and cross-functional technical teams.

This is senior level developer, that can work well with a team on a large complex initiative in the area of data warehouse.

This individual should be able to break down their tasks to a manageable level, be able to
determine solutions to complex issues, and be able to effectively produce deliverables in a timely basis.

Development: 40%
• Creates, designs, tests, codes and modifies existing programs.
• Supports changes and enhancements from development through production; recommending and implementing system enhancements

(e.g. system performance, screen appearance, report distribution and setup testing)
• Develops new programs to support specific customer needs (including new releases)
• Coordinates all areas of system testing, including preparation, execution and installation support to assure quality system changes.
• Very limited supervision and work direction.
• Works with programmers and users to ensure accuracy of enhancements.
• Actively collaborate on a major complex initiative, plans, organizes, directs and develops all aspects of assigned projects, both technical and business.
• develops technical specifications and interfaces with other applications
User Requirements: 60%
• Analyzes resource requirements and project time schedules
• Meets with users to determine the users' specific needs and feasibility of pending routine projects
• Identifies system enhancements, documents business needs and determines development impacts to current system
• Provides guidance to and collaborates on work of other team members.

Required Experience
• 4+ years of experience with Business Objects – Designer
• 4+ years' experience developing Crystal Reports in Business objects
• 4+ years of creating and executing SQL statements

Nice to Have:
• Informatica Development
• Strong Reporting background
