Position  : System Linux Lead

Location : Mt. Laurel, NJ

Job Responsibilities

·               Responsible for providing senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprises overall systems architecture.

·               Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise.

·               Reviews, advises and designs standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.

·               Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards. Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process.

·               Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate. Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprises architecture needs.

Job Requirements

·               Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

·               Typically has at least 7 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/systems environments performing systems planning, architecture design, engineering (hardware and software) and optimization.

Additional Skills:

·               OpenStack, Linux, Nagios for monitoring, Git/SVN for source control, AntHill Pro/Jenkins for automated deployment, Puppet for automation. -Experience with producing high traffic internet sites, multi data center environments, Open Source technologies, SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE with Tomcat, Apache and Nginx

·               Systems /Infrastructure Lead

·               Is a backfill position

·               CentOS - RedHat Enterprise Linux

·               MySQL, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Elastic Search, Apache Solar, NoSQL, Mongodb -couch base and Nagios are huge pluses

·               huge plus come from a Jenkins environment

·               Puppet is a must - must be able to automate using one of Perl, python, ruby scripting

·               Cloud skills are a must - doesn't particularly need openstack if they understand cloud computing

·               Support, deploy, troubleshoot technologies and advise on systems moving forward

·               Cross group collaboration heavy in this role - comm skills have to be excellent

·               400 servers, 20 apps is current environment, and looking

·               Need someone with large data center, disaster recovery, cloud infrastructure, huge server environment experience
