Title: Lead Developer

Location: Melville, NY

Term: 6+ Months

Work Place: The consultant will start at the Melville office, and might possibly work at the Hicksville office.

The developer will be supporting, maintaining & enhancing multiple web sites. In addition to standard software development, this position will perform strong data analysis and design and conduct Test Driven Development/Unit Testing within agile software delivery and quality methodologies.

They will work with both internal analysts and business experts and possibly external design and development agencies.

[Required Skill]

·         Excellent communication

·         Extensive knowledge of Object Oriented Software Development

·         IBM Web Content Management (WCM) architecture and development.

·         IBM WebSphere Portal Development

·         Portlets- portal lifecycle, inter-portlet communication

·         JSR 168 and 286

·         Strong Core Java, JSP, Spring , Hibernate, Javascript Frameworks , XML processing, XSL, Java Design Patterns, Oracle Stored procedures, PL/SQL, JUnit, , AJAX, Web Services.

·          Strong data analysis, design and testing skills

·         Experience using Test Driven Development, Unit Testing/Integration Testing

·          Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of multiple teams
