Position : Unix Developer

Location : Dallas, TX

Duration : 6 months plus

This role will be responsible for development and maintenance of the developer toolsets (ALM, source code management, collaborate, code review, etc..) technologies used by the majority of Java and C/C++/C# developers across Citi.  Position will require strong understanding of development tools, practices and standards in today's multi-tier application architectures.  Strong development language skills in Java, SQL and Unix shell scripting. Role will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of Java applications, Advanced Unix shell scripts, team documentation, web content and presentation.

The position requires a good understanding of common developer tools such as Jira, Git, SVN, Eclipse, Jenkins with a clear understanding of how to apply them to ALM processes.  The candidate must be comfortable working in a Unix/Linux environment with experience in scripting automation.  Must have good communication skills as the candidate will be required to liaise with and support developers, gather requirements, document support and user guides and assist with onboarding to engineered solutions.
