POSITION DETAILS:
Job Role: Oracle DBA
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: Long term
Interview Mode: Face to Face Must in MICHIGAN

Engagement Description:

 - Support upgrade of Oracle databases from version 10g to 11g, including implementing ASM
 - Additionally, migrate Oracle databases from AIX to Red Hat Linux platform
 - Work closely with application team to implement schema changes as required

Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:
1. Experience supporting the development Oracle applications on distributed platforms (5 years)
2. Experience with Oracle Version 11g and 10g (3 years)
3. Experience with Oracle migration from AIX to Red Hat Linux platform (1 year)

Required Skills/Experience (5 years):
 - Significant experience in identifying and resolving SQL performance issues through tuning.
 - At least five years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL coding.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
 - Experience working with large (multi-terabyte) Oracle databases
 - Experience with EMC TimeFinder cloning for Oracle databases

Education/Certifications:
 - Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
 - 5 years of database administration experience working with various database management systems required
