SUMMARY

• 8 years of IT experience with experience in all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of Analysis, Design, Testing, Maintenance and Support of applications.
• Proficient in Black box testing, Front End Testing (Functional Testing & GUI Testing), Unit testing, Regression testing, Back-end testing using SQL, Browser Compatibility testing, System testing, Acceptance Testing and Build Verification testing.
• Have experience in manual testing as well and well versed in practical implementation of its concepts. Project Planning, Resource loading, identifying Test Strategy and creating Test Plans, Estimation, Triaging the defect and reporting the risk on time and status of the project progress.
• Having sound knowledge in automating the application using HP Quick Test Professional (QTP 10.0), Selenium Web Driver and BPT.
• Good Understanding of Automation Frameworks.
• Having hands-on experience with Selenium Web Driver and QTP Frameworks.
• Adept at tools like HP Quality Center, ALM 12.
• Having good knowledge of DBMS concepts
• Having work experience in SQL, MS access and MS Excel, VBA Macro.
• Performing production checkout and identifying post production defects.
• Expert Experience in test design and test execution.
• Experienced in working with Waterfall and Agile methodology.
• Experience in performing Risk Based Testing (RBT) which in turn results in increasing productivity and ROI (Return on investment).
• Has proven experience in developing the automated solution wherever needed.
• Proposing tools and coordinating the tools to be created which in turn will minimize the work and maximize the productivity.
• Collecting and generating metrics to calculate test design, execution productivity and effort spent on and ensure the benchmark value is met.
• Track the daily activity metrics and validate the weightage on the core and noncore activities.
• Ability to work in team and independent.
• Have worked in on-site offshore model for 7 years and have done on-site off-shore co-ordination extensively.
• Experienced in leading a team of 15 members
• Ability to quickly learn new applications and processes.
• Excellent analytical and logical skills along with a critical and technical approach.
• Good Communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
• A good team player and fast learner.
