Position: Cognos Developer
Location: NYC
Must have Cognos TM1 experience
Extensive hands-on experience Cognos TM1 (Perspective, Architect, CAF, Performance Modeler) and TM1 SDK is a must. Strong hands-on knowledge of TI processes that query and write into relational tables, customize workflow.
IBM Certified Developer Cognos TM1, 10.2.2 a strong plus
Hands-on experience with the remaining suite of Cognos tools is a plus, including Cognos 10 BI Workspace Advanced, Cognos Insight, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Framework Manager, Transformer/Powerplay, Cognos Connection, Cognos Enterprise Planning
Takes direction well but must work independently, Team player, strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills.
Extensive experience with MS Excel, spreadsheet presentation, and financial modelling.
Excellent communications, presentation skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organization on a regular basis.
Expertise in the design and development of large scale integrated Enterprise wide Data Warehouse, Cognos TM1, BI and planning solutions.
Understanding of Data Models, ETL processes a plus.
Ability to build strong alliance with different business and functional groups.
Architected multiple enterprise wide deployed financial BI Reporting and Dashboard solutions.
Strong understanding of various relational database platforms in design and development of ETL processes and relational databases (Oracle is a plus).
