Job Title: Build and Release Engineer
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Duration: 3+ Months contract
Required Skills:
5+ years' experience in Managing builds and release engineer, Java development, python/scripts development and willingness to learn needs tools with optimization in mind.- Thorough knowledge of SCM concepts (code lines, branching, merging, integration, versioning, etc.)
Experience in Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, Nexus, Maven, Puppet. VMware experience is big plus
Excellent problem solving and analytical skill
Clarity in communication (both written and verbal) and collaborative attitude.
Ability to work with internal customers, development, QE, product management and partners.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle
Experience in Rally Agile development tools
Experience acquiring In-depth understanding of large complex enterprise software systems to isolate defects, reproduce defects, assess risk and understand varied customer deployments
Self and fast leaner and ability to work in a startup type environment.
