The Project Manager / Business Analyst with a Minimum of 7 years' experience will be responsible for driving the execution of the OSSS initiatives for PSAL Projects.
- The candidate will serve as a business analyst and assist in project management activities.
- The candidate must apply well-developed interpersonal and analytic skills, knowledge of business processes and information technology, and a deep understanding of business strategy to evaluate problems and opportunities, elicit requirements and work with the business team and others to define solutions.
- The candidate must then be capable of developing and driving a project plan, to ensure projects are efficiently and effectively executed.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels within the organization are essential.
Specifically, it is expected that the PM/BA will be proficient and have demonstrated success in the following areas:
General - Must Demonstrate:
- Solid experience in managing technology projects
- Ability to work well without close supervision,
- Sustained attention to detail,
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and across technical and non-technical disciplines;
- Strong understanding of business concepts and practices, and an ability to communicate them to both business and technology professionals.
- Solid understanding of the fundamental principles of performing project management on an IT project; basic understanding of software development and infrastructure
Business Analysis - must have the well-developed ability to:
- Understand the business goals, objectives and strategies of an organization, and apply such understanding to the design and implementation of new business systems aligned with the business vision;
- Develop project business cases, identifying stakeholders and defining scope, opportunities, proposed solutions, benefits and risks;
- Work with business stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements,
- Develop project documents useful to both business stakeholders and supporting IT personnel
- Work with IT developers to design and test technical solutions, while ensuring such technical solutions fulfill business requirements;
- Ensure that all aspects of business process documentation, training and implementation-related change management are identified and addressed;
- Serve as coordinator between all parties associated with project execution, ensuring open communications between the business stakeholders and supporting personnel are maintained.
Duties:
- Help in documenting business processes as initial step and deliverables,
- Establishes and maintains relationships with supporting departments, agencies and vendors
- Help in documenting project scope and deliverables,
- Develop business cases for projects, identifying stakeholders and defining scope, opportunities, proposed solutions, benefits and risks;
- Elicit, validate and document project requirements;
- Help in creation of project plans from requirement definition through execution,
- Create and manage project schedules and task lists,
- Identify and resolve project issues, problems and changes;
- Create and present project status reports,
- Develop functional and use case specifications, and coordinate development of prototypes as necessary;
- Work with stakeholders to test and validate solutions.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of the High school sports industry
