Job: Java Developer
Location : Cincinnati, OH
Job Type: Contract
GC, GC EAD and Citizens Only
Experience:
· 2+ years object-oriented design and development of n-tier applications experience in multiple languages and related technologies (JAVA/J2EE, Web Services)
· Firm understanding of Software Architecture, Design Patterns, and Middleware
· Firm understanding of Web Service concepts, WSDL, XSD, XML
· 2+ years' experience with Spring, SpringJDBC, and Hibernate
· Solid database skills including data modeling, ability to write SQL and procedures
· 2 - 3 years working with Internet technologies (HTML/HTTP, Tomcat 6+, LDAP, XML, TCP/IP, XSLT)
· Working knowledge of SOA
· Development experience with Guidewire products like ClaimCenter/PolicyCenter/BillingCenter will be a plus(Not Mandatory)
· Ability to write SQL and procedures
· Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux
· Excellent written communications skills (technical documentation)
· Must be self-motivated and take initiative.
· Designs, develops, tests, debugs, maintains and documents shared web services, software components, and utilities.
