Role and responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement business requirements; resolve application issues, designing and implementing system enhancements, and in documenting new user requirements

• Use programming language and technology, writes code, completes programming and documentation, and performs testing and debugging of applications

• Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs

Education Bachelors degree in CS or related field

Experience

• 4 – 8 years  experience with software product development, architecture and engineering including: analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications

Required skills

• Understand API design/development, Web Services design/development (REST, SOA, etc.)

• Proficient in application/software architecture (Definition, Business Process Modeling, etc.)

• Understand application/software development.

• Understand change Control Methodology.

• Proficient in Development Methodologies (AGILE, ITUP, 3D, etc.)

• Understand Development Tools (Rational Tools, Agile Tools, simulation tools, etc.)

• Proficient in internet technologies/programming (WSDLS, HTML, DHTML, XHML, XML, .NET, Active X, SSL, HTTP, JBOSS, etc.).

• Understand operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows).

• Proficient in programming languages (C, C++, Java, Javascript, VXML, XML, etc.).

• Understand database technologies (Oracle, MySQL)

• Project Mgmt experience is a plus
