Position : AWS Sysadmin / AWS CLoud Architect
Location : Brentwood, NY
Duration : 3-6+ months
Rate : up to $70-80/hr
Interview : phone and skype if they aren't local
(Can be onsite 2 days and remote 3 days a week)
The Job Description is
We need someone with at least 2 years experience in AWS doing Cloud Architecture and or Cloud SysAdmin. If they are aws certified at the associate level in Architect or SysAdmin even better. They don't need to be Professional level certified.
Requirements:
Expereinced in building Lambda rules ( preferbly to be used as Config rules )
Need someone who knows JSON and can create IAM policies for granular permissions
Someone who knows Elastic Load Balancers and creating launch configurations and autoscaling groups.
Experienced in creating Cloudformation templates
Knowledge of Linux is important
Knowledge of assigning KMS permissions to S3 buckets and EBS.
Experience with Chef a plus but not mandatory
Scripting languages: JSON, Ruby DSL
Good Communication skills as I will need to communicate with them as they work remotely 3 days per week
