This is 4+ month contract for Los Angeles Rate:$50

This position is primarily responsible for the development of a web portal and supporting services that will leverage RESTful or other xml based internet accessed services to obtain metadata from various third-party servers.

The position does not involve a great deal of user-interface design. The bulk of the work will be building the services and generic abstraction layer to connect to and query the third-party data sources on the basis of criteria data selected from internal system database.


• Strong Experience with RESTful and SOAP interfaces, parsing XML data retrieved via http query string.

• Experience with distributed services including distributed caching.

• Experience developing in c# .NET 3.5 and 4.0; Extensive recent experience developing in ASP. NET is a must.

• Experience developing C# ASP.NET web applications; MVC a plus.

• Experience in distributed architectures a plus.

• Ability to work with complex business applications a must.

• Strong SQL skills required: SQL server 2008.

• Experience designing supporting database objects and creating stored procedures a must.

• Bonus: development experience with Entity Framework
