Title: SOLARIS System Administrator
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 18 months
Job Description:
SOLARIS System Administrator . This is a guaranteed long term project and will complement a team of engineers providing 24/7 production support for the entire scalable UNIX/Solaris platform.
In depth understanding of SOLARIS OS environment.
Successful candidates will be providing 24 x 7 production support for SunOne WebServers and WebLogic application servers running on multiple SUN models with Solaris OS, Oracle databases running on SUN E3500's, and BIG IP F5 load balancer support.
Must have experience in responding with alarms using HP OVO as well as alarms coming from Topaz customer simulation tests and in-house developed monitoring systems. Will also utilize Remedy Problem & Change management application for management of problem tickets and production change requests.
Responsible in documenting trouble-shooting procedures, and interact and co-ordinate with support partners for OS and hardware maintenance and manage SSL certificates.
Must Haves:
7+ yrs UNIX/Solaris Admin experience
Experience with SunOne WebServers, WebLogic application servers
Experience with SUN E3500
Experience in BIG-IP F5 load balancers
Experience in HO OVO, Topaz
Experience in configuring SSL Certificates
