Detailed:
Patch Co-ordination
• Scope definition : Obtain the Scope of Patch release from PE / Dependant Party
• Dependency Check with respoect to earlier version of Patch availability
• Communicate to IT&S team on Patch Upgrades
• Obtain "No Objection" from Application & Server owners
Release Co-ordination (Monthly Application Production Release)
• Scope Definition : Attend Release plan meeting to understand the scope of application changes planned for release
• Participate (OCCB) , Review and Confirm Release plan
• Ensure standard migration document template availability for application team
• Review and agree on Implementation plan and Inform Operations team
• Marshall the operations team for Release implementation
• Co-ordinate (ADM, Testing & CR&M) deployment
• Esclate Implementation issues that needs attention to C&RM team
Shared Service / Infrastrucutre Change
• Scope Definition
• Participate in Global CAB
• Plan on Implementation of the change (preferred Implementation time)
• Roll Back Plan : Ensure roll back plan is available
• Ensure the availability of risk assessment and contingency planning
• Prepare Project Plan - Prioritize, schedule and plan the Patch Implementation
• Communication to NAGP IT&S on final Plan
Major Enhancements / New Projects / Major Upgrades
• Participate in Project Planning
• Analyze feasibility (Server Capacity and Scalability) based on TIP
• Co-ordinte the enhancement/upgrade
• Ensure CMDB is updated
Decommisioning
• Analyze feasibility (Impact on other apps)
• Ensure back up requirements are specified
• Ensure CMDB is updated
Specific Instance
• Auditing (DB back ups, Remedy workflows)
DR
• Co-ordination on Shared Service Technology Availability for DR
• Co-ordination on Application/System Availability
• Co-ordinates the DR
Other Skills Strong knowledge of ITIL V2, V3 Process, Customer Interfacing Skills, Communication Skills
