Rates: $65/hr

Job Description:

The customer is located near Boston. Partial remote work may be possible for the right candidate.

This is a 60 day contract is extension likely.

Seeking a senior level person to work on a project involving Cisco/Lync integration. Customer has a premise based Cisco CM deployment and they are deploying Lync at the desktop for UCC. Candidates with certifications are preferred.

10+ years of experience. Has Architected or provided and implemented enterprise level UC solutions for Customers. Responsible for providing critical thought leadership and consulting skills. Able to provide support customers with complex voicemail, applications and networks. Will provide consultation, solution for New and existing Move-Add-Change work on customer PBX, voicemail, and Automatic Call Distribution systems. Project management of complex moves and adds.

Significant experience with deployment of Lync at the desktop for UCC applications.

Provide strategic planning, innovative solutions and technical knowledge in order to design, implement and support EMC's Global Unified Communications enterprise and related technologies. Take the lead on projects from initiation to completion. Perform requirements analysis and develop hardware/software solutions to provide Unified Communications solutions to business requirements. Coordinate and review the installation of hardware, implementation of software, reviewing management and monitoring tools. May prepare and maintain operating procedures and associated documentation. Ensure that site diagrams are in place and kept up to date.

• Stay abreast of current and emerging unified communications solutions making recommendations based on in-depth knowledge and research.

• Interfaces with global providers to assess advanced and emerging solutions

• Responsible for developing global project plans, budgets, schedules, and documentation of work results.

• Readily share information with others, actively seeks customer input, takes direct responsibility for complex customer situations

• Contribute to process improvements, identify inefficiencies, develop policies and procedures

• Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions, which are highly innovative

• Collaborate with other EMC wide cross-functional groups and other engineering and architecture groups.

• Define architecture and standards for complex Global unified communications infrastructures
