 Job Title :  Wintel Admin

Location :  Irving, TX

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and administer Microsoft Windows based servers to meet business requirements.
• Provide 3rd tier support for troubleshooting and problem resolution as related to Wintel and virtual infrastructure.
• Lifecycle management and support Wintel and Virtual infrastructure (VMware and Hyper-V).
• Ensure timely patch management and security update deployments
• Support virtualized Windows Server infrastructure within blade environments.
• Ensuring system supportability and vulnerability remediation through enterprise platform configuration standards.
• Support cross-platform integration between Windows and RedHat Linux environments.
• Ensure performance and capacity planning by monitoring, reconfiguring and tuning hardware/software for future scalability and performance improvement.   
• Keep abreast of best practices and apply as relevant to the organization.
• Ensure service level targets and appropriate security metrics to proactively identify security threats and risk are developed and tracked.
• Develop relationships throughout the organization to reinforce a culture of service and collaboration.
• Prepare documentation and diagrams for use within Information Technology

 Core Requirements and Accomplishments 

• 7+ years deploying and supporting Windows server systems in an enterprise environment
• 7+ years supporting Windows infrastructure services:  AD, DNS, WINS, DHCP, IIS
• 4+ years supporting System Center Suite:  SCCM, SCOM, SCVMM
• 4+ years supporting Windows clustering in physical and virtual environments
• 4+ years supporting VMware Vsphere installation and configuration
• 4+ years supporting Block and File storage integration for Windows and VMware Hosts
• 2+ years supporting Hyper-V
• 2+ years supporting powershell scripting 
• 2+ years supporting VMware VCenter:  VCenter policy configuration, performance management, 
• 2+ years troubleshooting IP networks
• 1+ years supporting Cisco UCS Converged Infrastructure:  UCS Central, UCS Manager
• 1+ years supporting VDI
• 1+ years supporting Cisco UCS
• Proficient in creating logical and physical diagrams along with support documentation for supported environments
• Degree in technical related field
• Provide 24x7 on call support on periodic basis
• Bachelor's degree required preferably in within a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Information Security or equivalent experience.

 Preferred Requirements:

• Professional certification:  MCSE, VMware VCP, RHCSA
• Advanced degree.
• Retail experience
