Position: Sr. Oracle DBA
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 3-6 Months plus
Required Skills:
· 8-11 years of demonstrated Oracle Administration and Design experience including but not limited to:
· Experience with web-based applications (Weblogic, SunOne, MQ, Oracle and Solaris)
· Experience with Oracle Streams and Data Guard
· Performance monitoring & tuning
· Extensive Experience with PL/SQL and Data modeling
· Database installs and patching
· Physical and logical layout of database
· Backup and Recovery, Disaster Recovery & Change Management
· Extensive Experience with UNIX and Shell Scripting
· Documentation and Knowledge Transfer
· Troubleshooting and analysis skills
· Version Control System using Clearcase
· Experience with large databases ( at least 1-4TB)
