Technical/Functional Skills

:

·         Global implementation Experience of Oracle e-Business Suite (R12) GL module.

·         Knowledge on Financial Operations and reporting needs for an multinational US Corporation

·         Knowledge on Oracle R12 GL module functionalities

·         Ability to understand client business requirement and map to either standard GL functionality or custom solution

·         Knowledge on Oracle GL standard report, process and interfaces.

·         Experience of implementing multi ledger, multi currency, multi structure solution in Oracle R12 GL.

·         Knowledge in intercompany transaction using AGIS module

·         Knowledge of SOX Compliance and solution around GL

·         Knowledge of Financial and Management Reporting

5-8 years

Roles & Responsibilities

:

The GL Functional Lead is responsible for understanding Client Requirements and mapping them with the Oracle Standard Functionality and the exceptions. Responsibility includes assisting development team for custom solution implementation. The scope includes design, implementation and testing.

·         Understanding Requirements from Client

·         Managing client expectation

·         Suggest and implement solution in Oracle GL

·         Assist development team to implement custom solution

·         Testing of out of box and custom solution

·         Support client during system integration testing and user acceptance testing

·         Analyze testing issues and guide development team to fix the same

·         Monitor and report progress of work in the specific functional area

Generic Managerial Skills

:

Should be able to manage client expectation as well as liaison with offshore development team located in India.

:

MBA/CA/CPA
