Title: Sr. SOA Developer
Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 6 Months
The Senior SOA Developer is responsible for providing technical direction and expertise for IT Service Oriented Architect (SOA) Integration projects. The Senior SOA Developer will use project management methodologies and System Life Cycle disciplines to ensure successful implementation of projects in support of corporate initiatives. The Senior SOA Developer participates on development efforts by performing detailed analysis, developing detailed designs, programming, and testing applications. The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management, is essential.
A. Minimum of 3 – 5 year(s) experience designing and developing reusable integration solutions or demonstrated equivalent knowledge.
B. Expert level java and object-oriented design and coding experience, including frameworks.
C. Understanding of UML and IDE (Eclipse preferred).
D. Experience with agile and waterfall methodology based development.
E. Understanding of application design principles and application architecture.
F. Ability to navigate and work on multiple operating systems such as OS/400, AIX, or Windows.
G. Advanced knowledge of SOA environment with the ability to design and implement reusable integration objects.
H. Advanced knowledge with integration tools and services using Java, along with web services technologies and tools (WSDL, SOAP, XML, MQ messaging, Enterprise Service Bus).
I. Advanced knowledge with integration tools such as Informatica is preferred.
J. Ability to work as part of a team or to be self-directed as required.
K. Good organizational and project management skills.
L. Good oral and written communication skills.
M. Knowledge of health care business is preferred.
