Rate is $45 ? 50/hr Location: Anderson, South Carolina, US / Charlotte, North Carolina, US ROLE: Onsite Engineer Job Description: · Possesses a BS or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. · Expert rating CAD designers in CATIA V5 / UG · Possess expertise in Mechanical Part Design, Product Design, Generative Shape Design, Generative Sheet Metal and Drafting. · Good exposure to Plastic part design & its tooling requirements for product design. · Possessing Good Appliance Domain Expertise would be an Add on. Excellent Verbal, Written, Presentation and communication skills is a must. Responsibilities: As an Onsite Engineer his/her activities will be, oriented towards Ensuring Project Success and Business Growth by owning up the design activities of the project. Some of his/her key actions are: 4- 7 years Work hands-on on design/analysis tools. Ensuring the parts are as per the standards Idea generation and Concept development Material Selection and design of the individual components Ensuring the Fit, Form and Function of the components and assemblies Handle Other project documentation Understanding CATIA standards and guidelines Understanding inputs, query listing and coordinate with Project leader for clarification 3D modeling, 2D drawing creation, BoM Delivery quality and Timeliness Top down assembly inspection Delivery quality and Timeliness, Self QC & cross team QC Closely working with Global team
