Job title: - SQL server DBA
Location:- NY city(F2F Interview required)
Duration:- 6 months
Mandatory skills:
At least 5 years of experience and expertise with Microsoft SQL database Administration and Development, Microsoft SQL networking, Multi-site replication, and creating SQL queries;
• Experience in database security & auditing, using EMC and NETAPP SAN connected MS SQL, using Net App Snap Manager for SQL;
• Knowledge of development, test, and production environments, including setup of new servers, databases, and objects within the database.
• 5+ years experience with MS SQL/Server (2003-2008), Oracle databases, SQL Server Management Studio, and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Internet Information Services 7.x
• Experience managing multiple environment data structures (RDBMS, file servers, files, folders, etc.)in support of software product deployment projects.
• Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting new systems, add-ons or modifications to existing applications and/or architecture across various computing platforms , telecommunication platforms (wire and wireless-based), and computer languages using established development lifecycle and project management methodology. Development languages include but are not limited to .NET, J2EE, and ASP
• Providing installation, testing, auditing, integration, and support for operating systems, applications programming, and database systems
• Apply system patches, code fixes, and software upgrades and/or installations
• Recover lost data in the event of system failure (disaster recovery)
• Provide system documentation
• Proficient in use of MS-Office and Visio
• Excellent writing skills including ability to document technical procedures for users with varying skill sets.
• Demonstrated successful experience with projects of similar size or diversity that utilized a web based application. Submit a minimum of two and no more than four Project Abstracts describing projects that support this experience.
• Expertise in maintaining project plans.
• Must have graduated from an accredited college and have a minimum of four years work experience
