Position Description
The Sharepoint developer will be responsible for assisting in moving the existing asset modeling application from a legacy operating environment to Sharepoint. This includes:
Organizing the Sharepoint development environment, including configuration management.
Designing and building screens to display data from SQL Server databases.
Designing and building screens for table maintenance.
Integrating job management tasks.
Integrating with other tools, such as MS Excel.
Organizing the document management applications.
In addition to the intranet portal development which is the focus of the position, the Sharepoint developer will be assisting on the general project content management application.
Requirements
5+ years doing IT development, 2+ years on Sharepoint.
Prior experience as a web developer, and should have worked on building web parts.
Very good understanding of general Web-based development.
Good database experience with SQL Server is required. The Sharepoint developer should be comfortable with database concepts and objects and be able to write SELECT statements.
